Yes, although lots of times it is hard to see the dye. It will often just color the handle, or the hilt - something minor.

hehe, my friend tried dying his sword, ABSOLUTELY no effect, so i guess it depends on the weapon. And, Cerixus, that guy looks straight out of san francisco.

I know, I know... It looks like a darker purple in some areas. I was going for Royalty, ya know?
